Here’s something that’s probably very accurate, but shamefully so. According to research by Adobe & Econsultancy, only 25% of companies are using their social media presence to provide customer service, yet 64% of them are gleefully using it to promote their brand.
Those companies need to realize that by providing more customer service via social media, they’re actually improving their brand awareness.
More helping, less pimping.
